Data Product Manager
Charlotte, NC

Red Ventures is looking for a product manager to join our growing data team. Data touches every piece of Red Ventures and effects all aspects of business and technology. As a Data Product Manager, you will translate requirements between data scientists, engineers, designers, marketers, and other PMs and maintain a roadmap of priorities and communication back progress back to stakeholders. Data PM will align data strategy and business strategy while defining metrics of success. We're looking someone who will work very closely across many teams owning every part of the SDLC: writing requirements, leading stand ups, planning, communicating launches, and training on new features/technology. 

 You may be a good fit if: 

  • You can think in terms of the big picture but deliver on the details
  • You have a nose for great products, and advocate for new features with qualitative and quantitative reasoning
  • You can focus a team on the building of products to solve consumer needs as it relates to reporting and business goals
  • You do whatever the team successful: QA, writing queries, getting coffee, or hunting down other teams that need to help
  • You hate when users aren't having a good experience and now how to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
  • You can clearly communicate with empathy and exceptional precision to impacted business teams
  • You are technical enough to ask engineers good questions about architecture and product decisions alike
  • You are comfortable accessing data and getting insights
  • You don't like to just ship, but iterate on what's out there, constantly trying to deliver more value
  • You don't have all the answers, but you want to find them. 

Preferred Qualification

  • Communication, presentation skills and client management skills
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Working knowledge of BI products (SSRS, Power BI, SSAS, Tableau) and ETL tools
  • Technical experience around analytical tools, methodologies and design, and build vs buy tradeoffs
  • Experience in Agile development or comparable software development methodology.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple ongoing projects

Paid Search Analyst

What’s the Role?

We’re looking for experts in SEM to join our team as a Paid Search Analyst. 

At Red Ventures, Paid Search Analysts are responsible for optimizing, implementing, and analyzing paid search and PPC campaigns for our partners and driving digital performance. In this role, you’ll need to think strategically and act tactically. It is a highly visible role (internally with our marketing leadership team and externally with our partners), where you’ll be charged with identifying opportunities to drive revenue, and instilling data-driven best practices across the company. If you like data, marketing and analytics, you’ve come to the right place.

As a Paid Search Analyst, you’ll be working on top-tier national brands and will operate without budget constraints. Our Paid Search roles are a blend of in-house and agency search roles. They offer the full funnel ownership, impact and stability of in-house, with the high risk/high reward, diverse partner base and experienced teammates to learn from that you see in agency roles.

Paid Social Strategist

What’s the Role?

  • Reporting and analyzing paid campaigns in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and Snapchat.
  • Weekly and Bi-weekly reporting on campaign performance.
  • Internal communication on analysis of campaigns.
  • Day-to-day account management including campaign optimization, audience creation, budget management, and testing ideation and execution.
  • Strategizing and coordinating with design and content teams to develop creative for paid execution.
  • Research on platform improvements and new offerings in the social media space.
  • Additional duties as we continue to evolve.

  • Experience in Facebook Power Editor, Twitter Ads Manager, Google Analytics –a plus – building and maintaining campaigns with strategic organization.
  • Experience communicating effectively with design and content teams to develop cohesive strategies for paid social flight and execution.
  • Data lovers and analytically-minded people with a passion for marketing.
  • 1-3 years of experience with a proven track record of success in meeting performance goals in paid social marketing.
  • Data-driven marketers with superior analytical and quantitative skills who think creatively to decide testing methodologies and optimize campaigns to deliver results.
  • A clear passion for social media, and a strong point of view on its importance in the channel mix.
  • Experience working within a complex scope of paid digital marketing including: campaign planning and execution in multiple platforms, audience identification and targeting, ad creative ideation and production, bid/budget management and strategy, and measurement/results analyses.
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
  • A good sense of humor!
